Continental Europe currently represents a significant share of our global revenues and companies in the region are more keen to consider global sourcing than ever before. Wipro has made strategic investments in the Continental European market, both organic and inorganic, for more than a decade.
Our go-to-market objective for the region is to give a further fillip to business by adding new customers, strengthening relationships with existing accounts and growing Wipro's brand visibility and recognition through an integrated sales and marketing strategy led by the local sales leadership team.
We have significantly built our local presence over the years and 50% of our employees in the region are now hired locally. We are actively focusing on key markets like Germany, France and the Nordic region - driving customer centricity and local decision making. As part of our long-term strategy we have also partnered with local universities and business schools in the DACH region for in-depth graduate training programs.
