Selected candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a global assimilation and training program held in the United States and India for a period of 8 - 24 weeks. The program is designed to provide campus new hires with the opportunity to build relationships and deepen the understanding of our global organization.

From your start date, you will spend the first two weeks with all the new hires from various U.S. offices (locations vary from year to year). This program includes modules that cover the essentials of your role, an understanding of Wipro processes and methodologies and our quality and delivery mechanisms. We also focus on cross cultural training to ensure that our global business approach is instilled in all new employees.

The technical/functional consultant hires will receive 4-6 weeks of initial training followed by project based training where you will be placed on a project to ensure complete transfer of learning. You will have the opportunity to spend time at our development centers in India and gain a better understanding of how Wipro operates, meet with key India leadership and network with other new hires.

The consulting hires will also receive several days of specific core consulting skills training. The consulting training includes the following topics: team building, problem solving and business communication skills. To solidify these topics, you will be placed in teams and given a mock consulting project to complete with client interviews and data analysis. Based on information at hand, you then develop a formal recommendation to be presented to the mock client CEO.

Once you return from the training in India, you will receive an opportunity to learn from a seasoned team member with industry experience, in a "shadow" role before the actual job assignments are given.
