| From the Chairman’s Desk |
Enduring success is built on a firm foundation of values. Individuals are defined by the values that they stand for and values strongly influence behaviors. We experience repeated success when our behavior is in line with what we believe in.
As we wade through different phases of life's journey, our roles and responsibilities keep changing. At each juncture, it is very important for us to re-look at, re-prioritize and re-articulate our values to suit the shifting needs without compromising on the core. Such a re-expression reflects the energy and spirit of individuals to adapt to varying environments.
Values act like a mirror of the past and are synonymous with commitment, enthusiasm, team work and creative ideas. I am confident that WASEians will always view their mirror images with pride and continue to be the torch bearers of the Spirit of Wipro.
I wish the WASE team all the very best.
Apart from these accolades won at the work front, events such as SPARKS, SUPERNOVA, location specific annual celebrations, tech-forums and other sporting events have witnessed huge participation from the diversified WASE group.

The BITS-Wipro collaboration offering quality education to the talent pipeline of Wipro has completed a decade of operations. BITS, Pilani had realized the need for innovative programs to be developed for human resource development in industries and started the collaborative programs in 1979 with three industries. Today, BITS offers work integrated learning programs for more than 10,000 employed professionals in engineering and technology areas. These programs have significantly contributed towards the stability of manpower particularly in the software industries.
Wipro is a highly reputed Indian organization and its zeal to introduce the WASE programme speaks of its commitment to the development of its human capital. I am happy to note that this collaborative program has proved to be highly successful. I am sure the BITS-Wipro collaboration will be taken to greater heights.

WASE Batch 1995
We had struck a chord where we could multi-task effectively enough to balance our workloads across the MS program and our customer projects. Post-WASE, we missed the continuous learning, the insightful sessions by the BITS faculty, the interactions with the group and the opportunity to explore a universe outside the limited scope of our individual projects. This definitely spurred us to actively seek out new challenges.
Nisha Arunachalam
Currently pursuing WASE
As this is a work-integrated course, I'm getting an opportunity to learn different programming languages at the initial stages of our training and to work simultaneously on live projects using various platforms. WASE gives us a chance to interact with international clients which increases our self confidence and self dependence.
