Program Design

  • Each participant will go through a rigorous 15-month program providing them: global exposure through 4 rotational stints across continents and in their home countries in Delivery, Sales, Digital and an Elective of their choice. Each rotation guarantees hands-on learning through challenging assignments across functions & business units; direct mentoring and oversight by senior leaders; and opportunities to work on technology solutions involving Social Media, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud, AI & Automation.

  • Depending upon their background and interest, candidates will be assigned to one of our six (6) Strategic Business Units: Banking, Financial Services & Insurance; Consumer; Manufacturing & Tech; Healthcare & Life Science; Energy, Natural Resources Utilities & Construction; and Communications businesses as well as rotate through our Digital and Consulting practices.

  • Each participant will have an opportunity to choose an elective in any of Wipro’s Technology Practices, Finance, Strategic Marketing, M&A, Strategy, CEO and COO offices, or Wipro Ventures.
  •  
  • At the end of the program, based on their interest, career plan and potential, participants will be deployed in leadership roles in Sales or Program Management to drive business growth at Wipro in their home countries.

Who is eligible

As part of the selection process, Wipro will select candidates from diverse backgrounds and geographies with leadership potential, the ability to navigate ambiguity, demonstrate high levels of resilience, have engaging communication and influencing ability and curiosity in abundance.

    Final year MBAs from the top 20 Global Business Schools with 2 to 10 years prior experience.

Alice joined Wipro following her MBA at London Business School – she was particularly drawn to the rotational nature of the Global 100 program and the prospects this offered in her transition from a career as a corporate lawyer. Alvaro was born and raised in Madrid. He graduated in aerospace engineering in Spain, and worked for almost 4 years at Airbus, becoming in charge of customer support for the C101, a small military jet. He earned his MBA from NYU Stern Business School, where he specialized in Finance and Strategy. At NYU, he was a teacher assistant, president of the European Students Club, and worked over the summer for a Peruvian bank. At Wipro, Alvaro is part of the Manufacturing vertical. Wanting to further develop her global view of business, Andi attended Goizueta Business School and obtained a MBA in 2014. She was thrilled to join Wipro as part of the Global 100 Program, with hopes to thrive in a global and dynamic business environment

As a Florida native and true fan of the heat and sunshine, Andi attended the University of Florida where she earned a bachelor and master degree in accounting and also obtained her Certified Public Accountant license.

After graduation, she joined PWC in Atlanta and worked in the International Tax group where she focused on international tax planning and consulting for U.S. multinationals. She developed a passion for international business and really enjoyed helping her clients solve complex issues across the many jurisdictions in which they operated.

Wanting to further develop her holistic (and global) view of business, she attended Goizueta Business School at Emory University and obtained a MBA in 2014. She enrolled in courses in operations, marketing, as well as sales and participated in a study abroad program in Chile. She also traveled with a group of students across Asia, visiting large companies and learning about the cultural nuances of doing business abroad. Travel and global experiences have become a part of who Andi is; her goal is to visit 50 countries by the time she is 30 and she is getting close!

She is thrilled to join Wipro as part of the Global 100 Program, with hopes to thrive in a global and dynamic business environment and to help bring value to client relationships.

After studying for his MBA at HEC Paris and NYU Stern, Arthur decided to join the Global 100 program to strengthen his business acumen and leadership skills, as well as to gain international exposure. “I have relished the opportunity to learn in an incredibly supportive environment, with a cohort of like-minded MBAs embarking on the same journey.

Born in France, Arthur became an Electronic Engineer and specialized in Multimedia. He worked for 5 years as a Project Manager within the graphic chain industry. From design creation to print management, he coordinated creative, technical and commercial profiles to serve customers in various industries. His interpersonal skills and dedication to provide his teams with efficient tools, carefully thought processes and serene work environment were crucial to his successes.

Arthur enrolled in the HEC Paris MBA Program and exchanged with NYU Stern to gain business knowledge, leadership skills and international exposure.

He then joined the Wipro G100 Program to strengthen his newly acquired skills and to keep progressing through new challenges and incremental responsibilities.

Arthur enjoys running and competitive skiing. His many interests include semi-professional movie making, smartphone application development and technology. Arthur follows and lives accordingly to his three core values: Courage, Justice and Freedom.

Beverly Chen

The G100 represents a unique opportunity for working in a very innovative and fast changing sector, getting exposed to all the areas of the firm and its fascinating challenges.

Born in Oregon and raised in cosmopolitan Hong Kong, Beverly has experienced first-hand the beauty of cultural and ethnic diversity since early childhood. On a professional level, she appreciates the sophisticated thought process and the intellectual rigor required of scientific research. She also enjoys sharing insights with colleagues after overcoming the challenge.

Her innate drive to search for the truth through scientific research buoyed her up in her undergraduate and graduate studies in the United States. Such efforts helped her win various academic honors, on top of a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry at Washington University in St. Louis, and a Master of Science Degree at UCSD.

Prior to joining Wipro, Beverly worked at the Scripps Research Institute and the UCSD Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.

An inspiration for professional diversification came to pass in late 2012 when she was hand-picked for the role of lab manager, in addition to her research duties. This experience brought her closer to the world of commerce and provided motivation for her to pursue an MBA degree. It also dawned on her that an excellent business plan is a pre-requisite for extending technological breakthroughs to benefit humanity. In July 2015, she graduated from INSEAD in France and completed an internship with Good Pharma Consulting in Singapore.

Gideon Wilk

Gideon loves taking on challenging roles that make use of his business and technical background hence why he decided to join Wipro’s Global 100 program.

Gideon earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. He joined the G100 program to develop a well-rounded skillset and gain the tools to make a powerful difference in the challenging world of IT. Born in South Africa, Gideon moved to Canada as a teenager and earned his BASc in Systems Engineering from the University of Toronto. His passion for programming led him to work at Microsoft and at NexJ Systems, an Enterprise CRM company, where he became functional and technical lead on several projects for NexJ’s flagship product in service of their largest customer.

Gideon attended HBS to develop his business analysis and management skills. While there, he focused his coursework on Healthcare IT, co-chairing the Healthcare Club Conference and interning at Humber River Hospital during the construction of North America’s first fully digital healthcare facility. Gideon also co-founded SquareCap Partners, developing an algorithmic day-trading application from the ground up and performing tens of millions of dollars in public equities trades.

Gideon loves taking on challenging roles that make use of his business and technical background hence why he decided to join Wipro’s Global 100 program. His rotations in G100 include tackling datacenter automation under the CEO’s office, and setting the healthcare VC investing strategy for Wipro Ventures.

Hema Hariharan

I joined Wipro as a Global Business Manager and feel certain that its strong and massive world-wide corporate base will provide enormous opportunities for my career development. Above all, I hope that my knowledge in cutting-edge scientific research will add to the company's advantage in the area of healthcare and life sciences.

Hema was born and raised in Chennai and completed her under graduation in engineering at CEG (College of Engineering, Chennai). She then joined Deloitte Consulting. Her work on UX and rich user interface applications helped her appreciate the significance of effective customer engagement for businesses. Hema went on to do her MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, where among other responsibilities, she was also the President of the Marketing Cell. Her summer internship stint in their Sales and Marketing division of a large technology company strengthened her desire to pursue a career taking the right technology to the right customer.

Joining Wipro’s Global 100 program was a natural step in realizing that goal. Hema’s rotations in the G100 program have spanned from experiencing delivery hands-on to working closely with the COO. She looks forward to the next phase of the journey. Hema is passionate about animal rights and has worked on coordinating the first ever animal assisted therapy sessions in Hyderabad. She also loves music, singing and unwinding with a book over the weekend.

Javier Lorente

Wipro's G100 program seemed like the perfect opportunity for him to develop and improve skillset and grow, while being able to have a meaningful impact in a company that truly cares about the world around it.

Javier was born in Valencia, Spain, in the summer of 1983. Part of a large family, he quickly became interested in learning and developed a passion for tennis. He attended a local Catholic school, El Pilar, following his family’s tradition. Always looking to learn about different cultures, he spent his summers in the UK, Ireland and the United States. This allowed him to master the English language and develop his passion for travel from an early age.

After school, he attended the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia and was awarded a Masters in Telecommunication Engineering. Afterwards, he moved to Paris, France, to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering at ENSEA.

He settled in Paris post-graduation, and went to work for Altran’s Innovation Labs before being offered the opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading companies in business automation, ORSYP (now part of Automic). He transitioned from consultant to senior director of the European professional services unit for over six years. In between, he moved to London and helped the company navigate through a merger and enrolled in London Business School’s Executive MBA program.

Soon after graduating from LBS, he realized that it was time to move on to a new challenge. Wipro’s G100 program seemed like the perfect opportunity for him to develop and improve skillset and grow, while being able to have a meaningful impact in a company that truly cares about the world around it.

Julien Brain

With a masters in computer science and a passion for technology, I desire to be at the forefront of the transformation that technology is ushering across industries. This is exactly the opportunity that the G100 program at Wipro provides me.

A Silicon Valley transplant, Julien grew up in France. His role as a linguist at e2f, a translation and localization start-up, rapidly evolved into production management, with a promotion to Chief Operating Officer. In that capacity, Julien ran worldwide IT and production operations across four locations (Madagascar/ California/ France/ Mauritius Island), at the helm of a team of 80. Key achievements include structuring the company’s Madagascar-based offshore center (accounting for nearly half of the company’s staff) and launching a business process outsourcing (BPO) center out of an orphanage in Vietnam, to offload the company’s invoicing operations.

In parallel, Julien earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business, at the University of California Berkeley. Seeking another truly global opportunity for his next career move, Julien decided to join Wipro’s newly minted Global 100 program. As part of the program, Julien has worked in Asia, Europe and North America, with teams in service delivery, presales and sales, across multiples industries and service lines, including internal and client-facing consulting assignments. Prior to joining the G100 program, he took on a business development project with Wipro’s Platform & Software Products team. A technology enthusiast, Julien also enjoys discovering new food and flavors, traveling the world and scuba diving.

Rebecca Kullman

Rebecca completed her MBA at Duke in May 2015, where she was also President of Duke’s Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club and interned in venture capital. She led her team to win first place in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Venture Capital Competition, as Team Captain.

In 2013, Rebecca co-founded Medtuit, a medical technology company geared toward helping hospital physicians treat patients with diabetes. As COO, Rebecca developed the company’s business strategy and investor pitches. As a result, Medtuit was a finalist in the Duke Startup Challenge and received an investment offer from a Fortune 500 med-tech company.

She has over seven years of experience in strategy, process design, and project management, including work in the Centers of Innovation at the U.S. Institute of Peace. She speaks, reads, and writes Spanish and Arabic and has experience working on projects in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Roberto Ayala

Roberto completed his MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and joined the Global 100 program to fast track his leadership skills and gain more global work experience in the Financial Services and Technology space.

Roberto grew up in the Bay Area (California) and is of Mexican decent. He has an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and B.A.s in Political Science and Spanish from Arizona State University. Prior to attaining his MBA, Roberto worked in financial services at Vanguard, USAA and KeyBanc.

Roberto has lived in California, Arizona, Michigan and Ohio. He often travels to Mexico to visit family and friends. He recently visited Brazil, Portugal, England, Holland, Czech Republic, Israel and India for the first time. Roberto is planning on visiting Singapore and Thailand in the upcoming months. In his free time, Roberto enjoys traveling, working out and making new friends.

Shail Ghaey

The G100 has accelerated my general management experience by 5 to 10 years thanks to the pace and variety of the roles in the program. No other program packs so many rotations into such a short period of time.

Shail, a Chicago native, has an appreciation for the fine arts, Chicago’s sports teams, and trying different things. Her love of new experiences has led her to travel extensively, experiment in the kitchen, live in multiple cities, and pick up golf and water sports in addition to other fitness activities.

Following a degree in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University in Boston, MA, Shail moved to Washington, D.C. to work at an energy advocacy firm. She helped the industry develop best practices for manufacturing, testing, and upstream operations. Progressing rapidly and taking on new challenges, she ultimately became responsible for important issues and delivering talks to state and local officials on high visibility topics. Shail received her MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. This experience connected her to remarkable classmates, faculty, and opportunities. There, Shail was a LEAD facilitator and co-chaired both the corporate management and strategy group and the epicurean club.

Shail joined the new G100 program to get exposure to the tech industry while leveraging her energy background. The program allows her to gain different perspectives while learning about the business, industry, and developing winning digital strategies.

Shawn Scott

My biggest learning from the Global 100 program has been a better understanding of my strengths, weaknesses and interests while navigating through the various rotations.

Prior to graduating from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, Shawn spent the majority of his career in capital development, alumni relations, and relationship management at a large research university. With an educational background in theology and religious studies, he brings a unique perspective to the Wipro ecosystem.

Since joining the Global 100 program, Shawn has worked in a variety of roles in the pre-sales and delivery functions. In pre-sales, he helped develop a strategic blueprint for how Wipro can assist a large multinational bank in responding to threats from emerging technologies in the financial services industry. As part of his delivery stint, Shawn carried the roles of service design manager and project manager in a large transformation program for an oil and gas major. So far, his rotations have taken him to India, Ohio, and the United Kingdom. Shawn has a passion for learning and an eagerness to contribute in meaningful ways to the lives of those around him. Improv comedy, traveling, theater, reading, and music are a few of his hobbies.
