Job Description-Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Business Analysts to support transformation initiatives within staff channels value stream for a leading banking client. The role involves gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable deliverables for technology teams, ensuring seamless integration across staff-based applicationsand contact center platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct requirement elicitation sessions (workshops, interviews) and create BRD, FRD, and user stories.
  • Analyze customer journeys, staff workflows, and contact center processes to identify gaps and propose improvements.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and maintain product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements and compliance with banking standards (KYC, AML, regulatory norms).
  • Partner with developers, testers, and architects to validate solutions and manage UAT.
  • Drive process reengineering and transformation initiatives for staff channels and contact center applications.
  • Prepare business cases, impact assessments, and assist in change management.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of staff-based applications, contact center technologies, and customer servicing platforms.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, user story mapping, and backlog management.
  • Familiarity with banking compliance processes (KYC, fraud checks) and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in large-scale transformation programs across multiple geographies.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of workflow automation and business process management (generic, no specific tool).
  • Exposure to customer experience optimization and contact center enhancements.
