Job Description

Responsibilities:

    • Define the end-to-end testing strategy across supplier, internal QA, and UAT teams
    • Ensure a risk-based testing approach is applied across all phases
    • Define scope, test phases, deliverables, entry/exit criteria for each stag
    • Establish clear ownership across all parties (3rd party vs internal vs UAT) Align SDLC (supplier) with STLC (testing)
    • Validate and document how the supplier (Cambridge based) SDLC aligns to internal testing lifecycle (STLC)
    • Define Who performs unit, SIT, E2E, regression and UAT support testing
    • Defects management process
    • How test evidence is captured and stored for audit purposes
    • Manage 3rd party supplier testing
    • Assess supplier capability via SDLC/test lifecycle review (I’ve already put a checklist and questionnaire together and sent to the Adapt team)
    • Define clear roles and boundaries between supplier and internal teams
    • Ensure supplier provides test evidence, coverage, and traceability
    • Alignment to bank testing standards and governance
    • Establish working model (defect triage, reporting, escalation routes)
    • Lead daily/weekly triage between supplier and internal teams
    • System Test (ST)
    • System Integration Test (SIT)
    • End-to-End (E2E)
    • UAT (internal business testing)
    • Define required environments:
    • Ensure environments are segregated and controlled (non-prod vs prod)
    • Deployment/version control into environments
    • Manage environment risks (e.g. shared use, instability, data issues)
    • Work closely (Dublin) with the business to define:
    • UAT scope, timelines, and entry criteria
    • UAT test scenarios and data requirements
    • Exit criteria / quality gates for release approval
    • Implement daily/weekly reporting (progress, defects, risks, RAG status)
    • Define and enforce defect lifecycle and triage model
    • Severity/priority definitions and SLAs
    • All risks/issues are captured in RAID logsLead cross-team defect triage sessions
