Application Testing (Business Analyst)

Job Description – Application Tester / Business Process QA Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand end-to-end business processes and application workflows across multiple business functions.
  • Interact regularly with Business SPOCs, functional teams, and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Analyze business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing for applications and business processes.
  • Identify, log, track, and retest defects while coordinating with development and support teams for resolution.
  • Support UAT activities by coordinating with business users and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint discussions, and release validation activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and functional workflows.
  • Ability to interact confidently with business stakeholders and SPOCs.
  • Expertise in requirement analysis and translating requirements into test artifacts.
  • Good experience in creating test cases, test scenarios, and executing functional testing.
  • Knowledge of defect management and testing lifecycle methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Location - Bangalore/Hyderabad.

Experience - 8 to 10 years
