The Role

We are looking for a strategic Senior Account Executive to drive growth within our Product Engineering and R&D Services division. In this role, you aren’t selling a "shelf" product; you are selling innovation capacity.

With 5 to 7 years of experience, you understand the nuances of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how to partner with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and Product Heads to accelerate their roadmaps. You will navigate the shift from simple staff augmentation to high-value, outcome-based R&D outsourcing and full-scale Product Engineering partnerships.

  • Complex Service Sales: Lead the sales lifecycle for high-touch services including custom software development, cloud-native engineering, and legacy modernization.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build deep relationships with technical leadership (CTO, VP of Engineering) and procurement teams to manage MSAs (Master Service Agreements) and SOWs (Statements of Work).
  • Revenue Strategy: Manage a complex pipeline involving varied deal structures, from Time & Materials (T&M) to Fixed Price and Managed Services.

͏

Specific Qualifications & Skills

  • Industry Experience: 5–7 years of experience in Technical Services Sales or IT Outsourcing (ITO/BPO), specifically focused on software engineering.
  • Technical SDLC Knowledge: Deep understanding of how customers leverage AI in SDLC, Agile/DevOps methodologies, Cloud frameworks (AWS/Azure/GCP), and modern tech stacks (React, Node, Python, Go, etc.).
  • Deal Architecture: Proven ability to structure $5-10M+ contracts involving offshore/nearshore delivery models and complex governance frameworks.
  • R&D Insight: Ability to discuss product roadmapping, MVP development, and the trade-offs between in-house vs. outsourced R&D.
  • Sales Methodology: Proficiency in Challenger Sale or Gap Selling or Solution Selling, focusing on identifying "velocity bottlenecks" in a prospect's engineering team.

͏

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Annual Contract Value (ACV): Responsibility for hitting a yearly target of atleast $5Mn in new net annual service bookings.
  • Pipeline Velocity: Moving leads from discovery to SOW signing within an average cycle of 3–6 months.
  • Account Expansion: Successfully growing initial "pilot" pods into multi-year, multi-departmental R&D partnerships.

Utilization/Margin Awareness: Ensuring deals are structured to meet company gross margin targets while maintaining delivery quality.
