Title: Logistics Analyst

Role Expectations This role will be responsible for the oversight of our Order Management Operations, RDP Coordination, Sales Enablement Coordination, as well as order Order Performance Reporting and Resolution. The logistics analyst will function as the control tower for APAC Logistics in their region, implementing and executing projects and actions which ensure successful delivery to customers that meet speed and cost goals.
1. Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PL) and Order Management Operations
- Coordinate and oversee purchase order ingestion and purchase order processing.
- Build out and execute order management processes; improve existing processes as needed.
- Manage value added services project.
2. RDP Coordination
- Work with RDP to develop optimum operating guidelines in order to ensure clean and speedy processing of orders and availability of inventory to what is entered.
- Auditing and enforcement of SLAs to ensure that all items are being executed as agreed.
3. Sales Enablement Coordination
- Establish processes and guidelines for Account Management team to use in order to effectively onboard new partners and manage existing partners (pricing, SKU setup, routing guides, transit SLAs, etc.)
- Develop quarterly update report highlighting new partner adds, compliance, etc.
Drive improvement to existing channel processes.
4. 3PL and Order Performance Reporting and Resolution
- Develop 3PL and order processing metrics and dashboards to report performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Develop reporting to highlight order performance through the Purchase Order lifecycle. Establish and manage to thresholds for upstream and downstream follow-up.
- Create monthly overview of work processed, performance of processing, and areas of focus.
5. Projects
- As-needed projects based on regional operational requirements. Examples include regional inventory management, kaizen events, process/continuous improvement programs, and cross-functional projects supporting internal or external customers (customer support, etc.)
Qualifications
- Japanese business proficiency (Speaking & Writing)
- At least 2 year (at least 4 years preferred) of relevant work experience, including in operations, transportation, distribution, forwarding, customs, etc.
- Experience managing vendors in a fast-paced environment
- Experience directly managing and driving metrics
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to drive complex operational initiatives
