I’ve been working at Wipro since July 2010 in Chengdu. In my first four years, I’ve worked as the Project Leader for the Nokia account, and then for two years, I’ve worked
as the Project Manager for Stryker. As of now, I work as a Service Desk Manager for the ABB account.

I have been working at Wipro for more than 4 years and currently work as a Service Desk Manager for a pharmaceutical project in HLS.
My job allows me to work with people from a variety of different cultures and nationalities which has helped me acquire a global outlook. During my time here, I have acquired
a number of new skills such as the ability to speak English, manage clients and teams, and gained deeper technical knowledge. Wipro’s internal online training systems like Trend.Nxt and Wilearn have provided a ton of useful resources to help me learn and grow.

It’s been eight months since I began working at Wipro, Chengdu. Looking back when I first joined the company, it was a pretty rough start as we were having our quarantine and lockdown in China for many months.

Greetings everyone. It’s been eight months since I began working at Wipro, Chengdu. Looking back when I first joined the company, it was a pretty rough start as we were
having our quarantine and lockdown in China for many months. This new way of life has made a big change in our society globally, as we adjust to new social norms and
various health policies to keep ourselves safe. When the situation settled down, Wipro welcomed us back with team-building activities to encourage us, Wiproites so
that we could go through this together.
For all that matters, Wipro has helped us get through the COVID-19 pandemic by making us be conscious and take precautions for our health. We were allowed to
work from home and obtain sufficient rest if needed, especially when we catch a cold or get sick. The office management sanitizes the building frequently, where we also
get our temperature checked twice daily. This check is usually done once at the company’s front gate and again at the office lobby. Facial masks and alcohol sanitizers are
always available in the office. Wipro has also prioritized physical and emotional well-being too, as we receive regular emails on topics around staying healthy and placing
our feet off the gas pedal once in a while. On top of everyone’s mind, the main concerns are our well-being, financial stability, and job security. This being said, we can see
that Wipro has done an excellent job by exhibiting care and generosity to us, the employees.
At Wipro, we are adapting to new norms as the pandemic made us realize that we can work from anywhere in the world, and still be productive and professional. Our
team members are working in tandem from every corner of the world, staying connected with the help of modern technology. Most communication channels across our
organization are vital as they lead to much more efficient and effective meetings and work schedules. Alternatively, we are getting more creative to adapt to the
work-from-home setting. We can see that our team members are more active as they engage in many online and virtual platforms.
What I love the most about working at Wipro is being surrounded by amazing colleagues who are hard-working, talented, and super supportive of me. It is a great
culture with a good work-life balance. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of working with the Wiproite family, which I have known both in person and virtually.
I have also enjoyed our annual activities, such as The Spirit of Wipro Run 2020 in which we ran a virtual marathon. We also had the Tech Day of Pink 2020, where we
wore pink to spread awareness about breast cancer. It is truly an honor to be a part of Wipro. I know that we, as Wiproites, will become stronger through the pandemic
as we approach 2021!
