We are seeking an energetic and proactive Junior Project Manager to drive AWS cost governance and Application Security (AppSec) training compliance. This role is ideal for a motivated and enthusiastic security ‘influencer’ who can engage stakeholders, track progress, and ensure adherence to cost optimization and security training requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of project coordination skills, a passion for cybersecurity awareness, and the ability to influence teams to adopt best practices in cloud cost governance and security training.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination & Governance:

  • Oversee and track AWS cost governance initiatives, ensuring cost optimization strategies are followed.
  • Monitor AppSec training compliance, following up with teams to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to track progress and drive accountability.
  • Work closely with security, finance, and development teams to align cost and security goals.

Engagement & Stakeholder Influence:

  • Act as a security and cost governance advocate, ensuring teams understand the importance of compliance.
  • Drive enthusiasm around security training through engagement strategies, reminders, and communication campaigns.
  • Present updates and progress reports to leadership and key stakeholders.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Identify roadblocks in training adoption and propose creative solutions to improve participation.
  • Assist in refining governance frameworks for AWS cost management and security training compliance.
  • Ensure alignment with internal policies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, security governance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of AWS cost management principles and Application Security (AppSec) fundamentals.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence teams and drive compliance.
  • Proficiency in project tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or Excel-based tracking.
  • Ability to analyze reports, identify trends, and propose actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in security training program management or cloud cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with AWS billing, cost management tools, or security best practices.
  • Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Security+, or PMP.

 

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $90000 to $127000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
