Job Description

Role Purpose
The purpose of the role is to assist organisations in data protection through data protection regulations and trends, ensuring a regulatory compliant flow of data as per the business need.

Do
1.    Design and implement data protection and privacy programs for clients to support their business
a.   Lead the delivery of data privacy / GDPR / CCPA consulting client assignments by acting as a trusted privacy advisor to the client
i.    Evaluate data protection and privacy practices of the clients
ii.    Analyse Data Privacy Impact Assessments taking into consideration client mandated privacy regulatory requirements, including but not limited to GDPR
iii.    Support clients in adhering to the complex web of relevant national and international regulations
b.    Design roadmaps for clients on data privacy engagements
i.    Do requirements gathering from clients and assist in reconciliation of technical requirements from GDPR / CCPA perspective.
ii.    Interpret customer needs and design appropriate privacy solutions, articulate value effective and compelling propositions to align enablement of customer’s core business objectives and privacy requirements
iii.    Assist in deploying processes and tools to help detect and prevent privacy breaches and monitor changes in technology impacting privacy risk posture
iv.    Conduct periodic data privacy impact assessments and ongoing compliance monitoring activities in coordination with the organization's other compliance and operational assessment functions
v.    Support to mitigate effects of a use or disclosure of personal information by employees or business partners as encountered during privacy incidents or breaches 

2.    Business Development and Capability Building 
a.    Leverage consulting capability to support growth of the GDPR / CCPA / Data Privacy Consulting business in the delivery of end-to-end client solutions and the development of the assigned account
b.    Generate downstream remediation business from accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships into multi-million-dollar engagements
c.    Responsible for providing high-quality bids on time by working in an organized manner with a cross-functional team of technical specialists, solution architects, CoEs, delivery teams, sales team, legal teams, financial teams etc.
d.    Compose and articulate compelling, persuasive technical solutions and commercial models that are focused on addressing customer business/privacy problems
e.    Maintain current knowledge of applicable privacy and data protection requirements and accreditation standards  
f.    Assist in developing privacy training materials and other communications to increase understanding of company privacy policies, data handling practices and procedures and other privacy (legal) obligations

i.    Forecast talent requirements as per the current and future business needs
ii.    Hire adequate and right resources for the team 
b.   Talent Management
i.    Ensure adequate onboarding and training for the team members to enhance capability & effectiveness
ii.    Build an internal talent pool and ensure their career progression within the organization
iii.    Manage team attrition 
iv.    Drive diversity in leadership positions
c.   Performance Management
i.    Set goals for the team, conduct timely performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to own direct reports
ii.    Ensure that the Performance Nxt is followed for the entire team
d.   Employee Satisfaction and Engagement
i.    Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
ii.    Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
