Senior Cloud Automation engineer with above 6 years total experience and above 5 years relevant experience required to work on automating DBMS associated infrastructure tasks, cloud infra provisioning, App deployment with DB configuration and monitoring process/procedures of IOT datacenter connectivity platform. 

 

Responsibilities

Analyse and implement automation of DBMS provisioning, DB App config data processing, Backup and restore, DB recovery and protection and DB load balancing tasks

Develop and implement cloud automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).

Identify manual processes that can be automated and then design and implement automation solutions.

Monitor automated systems for potential issues and resolve them proactively.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide cloud solutions.

 

Qualifications

Strong experience as a Cloud Automation Engineer in automating manual processes using advanced Ansible scripting.

Strong experience in MongoDB/Oracle wrt DB instances provisioning, DB App config data processing, Backup and restore, DB recovery and protection and DB load balancing tasks

Strong knowledge of cloud services such as AWS/OpenStack.

Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, containerization technologies like Docker/Kubernetes and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills and ability to optimize code.

Good communication skills
