Job Description

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies that align with the company’s goals and values.
  • Ensure communication strategies effectively inform and engage employees across all levels of the organization.
  • Measure the effectiveness of internal communications and adjust strategies as needed.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of engaging content across various internal communication channels such as emails, newsletters, intranet, and meetings.
  • Ensure that all internal communications are clear, consistent, and reflect the company’s voice and brand.
  • Manage the internal communications calendar, ensuring timely and relevant distribution of information.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the internal communications team, setting clear goals and expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation in communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to internal and external communications.

Crisis Communications:

  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to manage internal communication during sensitive situations.
  • Ensure that communication during a crisis is timely, accurate, and consistent.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed in communication strategies. Be a strategic partner for the business.
  • Serve as a liaison between the executive team and employees, facilitating open and transparent communication.

Feedback and Improvement:

  • Establish mechanisms for receiving employee feedback on internal communications and incorporate this feedback into future strategies.
  • Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in internal communications and apply this knowledge to improve internal communication efforts.
