Job Description

This career opportunity within our career framework is at Senior Manager level and is for the CIO Advisory consulting business unit. The role as a Senior Manager is focussed on supporting key aspects of offering capabilities from the CIO Advisory practice on client pursuits and projects. The role also includes playing a leading role in the development of current offerings from the CIO Advisory practice. 

This role is expected to be knowledgable in one or more of the following competencies:
•    IT’s alignment with the Business
o    Artificial Intelligence (AI) Business Case and adoption
o    ERP Business Case and Business process change
o    Technology sustainability and the ability for IT to support the business’ sustainability goal
•    IT Operating Models
o    Technology organization organizational design and operating model with the business and managed services vendors
o    Technology merger and acquisition / divestiture planning and financial management
•    IT Spend Optimization
o    Technology Business Management  / IT Finance and cost transparency operations
o    Technology cost optimization
•    Simplification and modernization of technology
o    Technology modernization business case and technology strategy assessments / roadmaps
o    Enterprise data quality improvement and data governance 
o    Enterprise program management with content driven tools and accelerators

Our Senior Manager is expected to build and curate mid to senior level relationships at clients, demonstrate vendor partnership capabilities on joint go-to-market initiatives. Additionally the Senior Manager is expected to demonstrate the ability to collaborate with Wipro’s Account Executives on positioning specific offerings and capabilities based on client needs

•    Relationships: As a Senior Manager,  the technology organization in one or more industries. 
•    Offerings: Substantially contributing to the development of, and supporting the maintenance of the CIO Advisory practice’s offerings and capabilities
•    Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring you are seen as a trusted advisor to clients and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.  
•    Thought Leadership: Support the development of thought leadership and support the practice’s leadership develop value propositions
•    Team leadership: You are expected to coach junior staff in the CIO Advisory practice. Your responsibilities include acting as a career coach, helping staff develop rounded core consulting skills and be the leader that staff want to work with.

Skills and Qualifications

Sell & Deliver 
    Lead a small to medium project team through all phases of the project lifecycle, including: scoping and planning, hypothesis/framework development, strategy analysis, consulting analysis and recommendations 
    Strong leadership skills, precise communication, strong interpersonal relationship building and networking skills for both internal Wipro staff AND clients 
    Good critical thinking skills, ability to get to the root of the problem quickly
    Ability to construct presentation slides that are effective in conveying the intended message and visually pleasing to a high level of standard. Additionally, candidate needs to have the ability to present the information effectively to the audience.
    Delivery and program expertise with experience in handling multi shore consulting projects with distributed teams delivering sustainable customer value.
    Know-how to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges

    Ability to probe customers, engage in conversations to uncover the underlying problems and shape the challenges into structured problem statements
    Comes with a good level of transformation proposition definition and engagement shaping using core and disruptive technologies to solve business problems for tangible business benefits at large enterprise clients
    Ability to drive and lead the strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams and achieve results
