The Role
Wipro is seeking a Global (RSAT) Domain and Consulting Partner & Practice Lead. This career opportunity is with the Retail, Transportation and Services sector. This sector focuses on Business and IT engagements for Fortune-500 and Global-2000 clients around the world covering a diverse set of sub-verticals including Retail, Distribution Travel, Transportation, Hospitality and Services. The successful candidate will drive, define, and support consulting engagements and capabilities in the Retail, Transportation and Services sector in North America. S/he will also enable the opening of new engagements, drive the adoption of differentiated solutions, and build the Industry Domain & Consulting Practice.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Consulting Strategy: Define a sound business growth strategy built on industry consulting and technology consulting (digital, analytics, and engineering) strengths. Focus on growing Consulting to 20% of unit strength with higher billing rates and margins. Help in creating new business opportunities and new business wins (pipeline and order book).
- Business Growth: The successful candidate is expected to shape, lead, and drive transformation engagements by working closely with CXOs and internal Wipro teams. The individual is also expected to lead consulting workshops to craft future state functional and solution roadmaps.
- Solutions: Identify and define differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the (RSAT) industries. Create and continuously refine cutting-edge solution showcases to be demonstrated across Wipro’s Technovation centers.
- Thought Leadership: Be Wipro’s voice and a recognized thought leader across industry forums, partner events, and customer interlocks. Publish, speak, and mentor on a range of forward -looking topics around various Retail/Distribution/Logistics/Transportation industry segments and functions.
- Branding: Create a strong Wipro market positioning – increase Wipro’s mindshare in the Transportation ecosystem (product companies, analysts, and influencers).
Location
This hire can be based in India. She/He will need to travel as required, and travel may vary significantly based on the executive’s home location and other factors.
Candidate Profile
Wipro seeks a hands-on, proven, and results-oriented consulting executive in the RSAT Sector. A deep understanding of retail, transportation, distribution and logistics, business transformation coupled with a digital-first mindset is required. The successful candidate will be a bridge builder capable of connecting the dots between business, process, technology, and the customer.

Desired Experiences, Skills and Expectations
- Minimum 12 years of industry experience with the past 8 years being in a Retail, Transpiration and Logistics consulting leadership position.
- Exposure to tier-1 retail/distribution/logistics and transportation products.
- Functional expertise in retail, transportation, logistics and warehouse management.
- Experience or strong exposure to software lifecycles including defining downstream from a consulting engagement.
- Ownership in Solution incubation and IP-creation.
- Experience in consultative selling and creating client business case for value-based pitches.
- Worked with some of the largest Retail and Transportation segments including freight, air, shipping, etc.
