Job Description

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Apps SCM Consultant with deep functional expertise in Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and related VCP modules. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle R12 SCM applications, with a strong focus on planning, sourcing, and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Oracle ASCP implementations and enhancements in R12 environments.
  • Configure and manage planning setups, source instance configurations, and data collections in distributed planning environments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand supply chain challenges and translate them into Oracle solutions using constrained and unconstrained planning models.
  • Provide functional expertise in Global Order Promising (GOP) and Available to Promise (ATP) processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between ASCP and other Oracle SCM modules like Inventory and Manufacturing.
  • Participate in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and development projects.
  • Support integration efforts between Oracle EBS and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues independently using SQL/PLSQL.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and user training materials.

Required Skills:

  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle ASCP and VCP modules in R12.
  • Hands-on experience with GOP and ATP functionalities.
  • Expertise in planning setups, source instance configuration, and data collection processes.
  • Solid understanding of Inventory and Manufacturing modules in Oracle R12.
  • Business acumen to analyze requirements and map them effectively to Oracle SCM solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for issue debugging and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with IT and business SMEs.

  • Exposure to Oracle Demand Management Cloud (DMC).
  • Experience in working with distributed teams and Agile methodologies.
