Job Description
- Responsibilities: Sector Head in Americas: Role
- Own the primary P&L responsibility for their respective sector within Americas
- Drives overall strategy for the sector including identification of big bets & focus areas for the sector
- Owns and allocates all investment budget for the sector (e.g. sales and pre-sales) incl. strategic partnerships
- Owns end-to-end business growth and outcomes for sector in Americas
- Orchestrate delivery of accounts through the GAEs and drive profitability of the P&L
- Responsible for sector specific solution and offerings design

- Structure:
- Global Account Executives and cluster account leaders within a sector would report into the respective Sector Head
- Dedicated SMU Sector Domain Heads would report dotted line and primary into the respective Global Domain head
- May have dedicated functional leaders (HR, Finance) who would report dotted line and primary into the respective SMU function heads; Not all sectors will have dedicated functional leaders – it will be a function of size of the sector

- Decision rights:
- Accountable for i.e. has final say in any conflict pertaining to:
- Finalizing sales targets for sector in Americas, including hunting & farming targets
- Investment decisions in sales, strategic partnerships and large deals for the sector in Americas
- Final pricing of deals & approval of exceptions for key clients etc. (in conjunction with Americas Heads and GBL Heads in line with the guidelines set by CFO)
- Sector Sales resource hiring, allocation to accounts & appraisals, career growth
- Practitioner sales resources allocation to accounts
- Training & upskilling of sales team under sector in Americas
- Consulted for
- Hiring & appointment of key GBL roles for sector for e.g. Sector iDEAS Delivery Head etc.
- Key delivery leadership in accounts by GAE in partnership with GBL
