Job Description

Master Data Management Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
    Evaluate the current data management practices and systems
    Design and recommend MDM strategies and solutions that align with the organization’s goals
    Develop project plans, timelines, and requirements for implementing MDM systems
    Integrate data from various sources ensuring consistency and accuracy
    Develop and implement data synchronization techniques across multiple platforms
    Implement data quality management practices to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the data
    Define data quality metrics and establish processes for ongoing data quality improvement
    Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data standards and policies
    Assist in the development of data governance frameworks and documentation
    Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand their data needs and challenges
    Configure and customize MDM tools and systems as per the organizational requirements
    Provide technical support during and after the implementation phase
    Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed to enhance functionality
    Responsible for delivery of technical activities for the projects on schedule
    Lead and mentor a team of developers and provide technical support to the team
    Collaborates with technical team to configure/adjust technologies to optimise workflows
    Daily connect with project teams to assess the progress and direct them towards deadline
    Involve in customer meetings for requirements gathering, design discussions, task scheduling, progress updates, etc.,
    Develop and maintain project technical scripts and components
    Defines Technical specific tasks and sub-tasks
    Identifies and manages resolution of technical issues
Experience & Skills:    
    7+ years of experience in delivering the technical solution to the customers
    Proven experience in data management, data integration, or a similar role
    Strong understanding of MDM principles, technologies, and tools
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Experience with data quality tools and methodologies
    Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
    Preferred Skills: Certifications in MDM technologies or data management
    Must have experience in Microsoft Data Services (MDS) tool
    Experience with specific MDM tools like Informatica, SAP MDG, Oracle MDM, etc.,
    Promotes honest & candidness within the project team
    Be open to learning opportunities
