Job Description

Role Purpose

This role is focused on developing integrations between ServiceNow and external systems. It requires a deep understanding of integration protocols, API design, and secure data transmission. Ideal for developers with strong scripting and troubleshooting skills.

1. Develop and maintain integrations using IntegrationHub, REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
2. Write Scripted REST APIs and inbound data handlers.
3. Create and manage data transformations and import logic.
4. Set up secure API authentication methods (OAuth, Basic).
5. Maintain error logs and retry logic for failed transactions.
6. Document all integration points and dependencies.
7. Use flow templates for scheduled and event-based triggers.
8. Ensure data consistency between external systems and SN tables.
9. Participate in design reviews and code walkthroughs.
10. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for integrations.
