Role:
As a Technical Consultant at Wipro Technologies, you will leverage your technical expertise to drive the transformation and enhancement of our clients’ SAP systems. Your role will involve planning, analyzing, defining, and supporting the technical delivery of capabilities tailored to meet clients' unique transformation needs. With a focus on advanced problem-solving, you will support a variety of projects that enhance client satisfaction and foster innovation.

You will be expected to maintain a keen awareness of the latest developments in SAP technologies and continuously seek improvement in your technical competencies. This position stands at the intersection of technology and client needs, making it vital for enabling successful outcomes and sustainable business advantages for our clients.

Do:

  • Act as an independent expert within the respective SAP technical workstream for various projects, including implementation, conversion, development, enhancement, and support.
  • Design and develop high-level and detailed technical solutions for clients, ensuring all business needs and integration requirements are met.
  • Tackle complex client issues by gathering insights into their business processes and providing tailored technical solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops with clients and technical teams to ensure seamless integration that aligns with their technical requirements.
  • Lead discussions with clients to clarify integration needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
  • Deliver training sessions and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to use the systems effectively.
  • Create detailed technical specifications and test plans for the development team, promoting a test-driven development approach.
  • Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
  • Act as a knowledgeable support resource in various projects and delivery engagements.
  • Drive innovation within existing accounts and provide high-quality delivery support.
  • Manage escalations and foster productive interactions with SAP and partnering entities.

  1. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in SAP BTP Extension & Application Development and SAP BTP Cloud Integration.
  2. Proven experience in designing and developing technical solutions for side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of S/4 HANA Extensibility, both in-app and on-stack.
  4. Hands-on experience with RICEF objects in ABAP on HANA, showcasing adaptability to various complexity levels across technologies.
  5. Familiarity with the S/4 HANA Extensibility Framework and Techniques.
  6. Solid understanding of web development technologies, including SAP UI5, HTML5, Webservices, SOAP, JavaScript, and various web frameworks.
  7. Proven capability in the end-to-end UX development cycle, including adherence to design principles such as Fiori.
  8. Experience and expertise in ABAP CDS views, oDATA, REST/JSON, and XML, including a strong debugging skillset.
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and propose effective resolutions.
  10. Thorough understanding of business processes in multiple S/4 HANA modules, such as SD, MM, PP, EWM, and APO.
  11. Experience with the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
  12. Proficient with development tools like Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Studio/Eclipse, and GIT.
  13. At least 8 years of CORE ABAP experience, with 5 years in S/4HANA environments of medium to large scale.
  14. Leadership skills leading a team of BTP developers, guiding them in technology adoption.
  15. Excellent communication skills enabling positive interactions within teams and with clients.
