We are urgently looking for a MS-SQL/DB Lead specialist to work on a project in Belgium. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work allocation and provide guidance to respective technical team (technical / process etc.,).
  • Follow up with support/development teams to identify and resolve problems.
  • Vendor coordination in the case of issues and upgrades.
  • SLA / KPI management and reporting related to services.
  • Provide timely communication to Client Stakeholders regarding all aspects of the services.
  • Is able to identify risks (both technical and timelines) to deliverables and raise for discussion and guidance in advance of them happening with respective stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary technical resource and point of contact for the technical team.
  • Provide technical assistance and mentoring to developers/support team and junior team members.
  • Guide the team in understanding requirements, writing specifications, and developing high-quality SQL code/procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, development processes, and best practices across the team.
  • Having seasoned experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Independently analyzes, designs, programs, and debugs solutions to customize software used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs to meet specific customer needs.
  • Works on diverse scope issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Independently interacts with users (including external customers) to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

 

Your Profile:

  • Strong level of experience in MS-SQL and SQL Procedures
  • Strong level of experience in DWH concepts (such as MDM) and DB-Management.
  • Experience in Azure Cloud.
  • Strong level of experience in team management
  • Strong level of experience in Support & Enhancement activities
  • Nice to have someone with MIS background, end-user & power user applications.
  • Language: French or Dutch/Flemish
  • Min. 3 days in Brussel office.
