Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MQ Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the installation, configuration, and administration of MQ across both UNIX and Windows environments. This role demands a proactive individual with a proven track record in setting up distributed and cluster environments, ensuring the implementation of clustering, security, and high availability of MQ nodes including proficiency to automate all MQ admin tasks.

 

Job Description

  • Experience as Administrator for MQ.
  • Experience in Installation, Configuration and Administration MQ on UNIX and Windows environments.
  • Setting up of distributed and cluster environments
  • Implementation experience in Clustering, Security and High Availability of MQ nodes.
  • Experience on MQ migration from legacy version to latest version. Should have experience in apply security patches.
  • Troubleshooting and migration of MQ.
  • Strong knowledge on Message oriented middleware concepts including different Messaging styles (Asynchronous, pub-sub), Messaging APIs (JMS, STOMP, AMQP, REST).
  • Experience with Shovel and Exchange federation
  • Implementation experience in Clustering, Security and High Availability of MQ nodes
  • Monitoring Alarms of MQ
  • Troubleshooting and Migration of MQ
  • Experience in deploying the Open-source Cloud Foundry and various open-source cloud foundry services.
  • Tune MQ performance issues.
  • Automate MQ operations and monitoring part.
  • Configure MQ backup and recovery strategy and planning.
  • Experience in SSL tasks include deployment and renewal certificates.
  • Experience and Expertise of MQ Migration
  • Experience and expertise of MQ Scripting and automation.
  • Should be able to automate MQ daily tasks .
Mandatory Skills: IBM MQ Infra Admin .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $1,35,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
