Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Analyst

This Cybersecurity Training & Awareness Analyst will work as part of the Cybersecurity organization to build, operate, and maintain a variety of programs designed to educate all levels of AA team members about key cyber threats with the goal of reducing risk across the organization.

 

Key Requirements

• Actively participate in all cybersecurity training & awareness activities

• Assist with creation and review of training & awareness deliverables designed to create a “cybersecurity first” culture

• Assist with managing relationships with training & awareness vendors

• Assist with creation and tracking of metrics designed to measure the success of training & awareness programs

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to create communication of complex technical topics to non-technical audiences

• Collaborate with cybersecurity policy and audit teams to understand and comply with regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with the enterprise training department for rollout and tracking of mandatory training

• Collaborate with Corporate Communications for creation and distribution of awareness programs

• Strong aptitude for problem solving

• Self-motivated; able to work independently on given assignments

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to concisely present work status and deliverables

• Effective organization and planning skills

 

Required Experience/knowledge

• 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity training and awareness; related college degree preferred

• Experience with developing and operating multiple aspects of training & awareness programs e.g. training courses, formal communications, phishing campaigns, cyber ranges, etc.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity domains, including policies, controls, and common regulatory requirements

• Understanding of top human risks to an organization and programs designed to change behavior to mitigate those risks

• Excellent writing skills with expert knowledge of grammar and punctuation

• Above average skills in MS Office tool suite

  • Ensuring customer centricity by providing apt cybersecurity 

  • Monitoring and safeguarding the log sources and security access
  • Planning for disaster recovery in the event of any security breaches
  • Monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, unauthorized or illegal activity
  • Performs moderately complex log reviews and forensic analysis to identify unauthorized or unacceptable access to data or systems
  • Conduct security assessments, risk analysis and root cause analysis of security incidents
  • Handling incidents escalated by the L1 team in 24x7 rotational shifts
  • Use advanced analytics tools to determine emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities
  • Completing all tactical security operations tasks associated with this engagement.
  • Analyses all the attacks and come up with remedial attack analysis
  • Conduct detailed analysis of incidents and create reports and dashboards
  • Stakeholder coordination & audit assistance

  • Liaise with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues and provide future recommendations
  • Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security
  • Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues
  • Advice and guidance to employees on issues such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $1,35,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
