Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • Image capture, build and testing
  • Apply layered and other best practices guidelines related to OS image management
  • Design services for deployment of operating system images, security patches, applications and settings, utilizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and 1E add-ons, in a medium/large enterprise environment
  • Create, monitor and report on key metrics
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment issues
  • Following strict change, incident, request and problem management guidelines; and ensuring compliance to service level agreements
  • Generate compliance reports
  • Demonstrate strong technical and integration skills

Requirements:

 

  • Experience in creating operating system images using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or System Center Configuration Manager
  • Advanced knowledge & hands on experience on Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager
  • Hands-on experience on MDT
  • Knowledge on Microsoft SQL queries
  • Ability to resolve complex Imaging incidents.
  • Experience in managing multi-vendor device drivers
  • Ability to build task sequences
  • Experience in creating scripts with VBScript and PowerShell
  • Expert knowledge of the Windows Operating System including a solid understanding of the registry and WMI
  • Ability to certify new hardware models for the Image

 

Nice to have:

 

  • SCCM 2012 certification
  • ITIL v3 Foundation
  • Non-Windows operating system image management (MAC Imaging).
