Role: Business Analyst/ Product Owner - E Commerce

Location: Indianapolis, US (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities: Senior eCommerce Business Analyst (Onsite)

Business Analysis & Strategy

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for eCommerce initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for development teams.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure the success of eCommerce features and campaigns.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Create user stories, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in UAT and ensure solutions meet business expectations.

Customer Experience & Optimization

  • Analyze customer behavior using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
  • Identify friction points in the user journey and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to enhance usability and conversion rates.

Data & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Use SQL, Excel, or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to extract and analyze data.
  • Monitor site performance, A/B test results, and campaign effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in an eCommerce environment.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Hybris).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $100,000 to $1,40,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
