Role: Compute Specialist

Location: London

Skills: AWS, EC2, Graviton, Ansible, Chef, Terraform


Role: This a specialist role providing deep technical expertise on compute-related tasks across the workstreams, including instance selection, performance tuning, Windows to Linux migration and Graviton optimization.

 

Skills needed:

  •  Expertise in EC2, instance families (esp. Graviton), and autoscaling
  •  Experience with performance benchmarking and troubleshooting
  •  Familiarity with CI/CD integration for compute workloads
  •  Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Terraform)
  •  In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, particularly around compute, storage, and networking
  •  Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., EKS)
  •  Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)
  •  Experience in modernizing workloads including legacy-to-cloud transformations
  •  Understanding of network design and configurations within AWS.
