Role: BY TMS Techno functional Consultant

Location: Marysville, OH (onsite role)

Job Description:

looking for an associate with prior experience working in / with Blue Yonder TMS solution. We would like the user to be both business and technical oriented if possible, with a lean toward business acumen for Transportation Management Solutions. As mentioned before, we are looking for someone that has prior experience with launching or adopting a product with a major client. 

1. Change Management and Platform Sustainability

      a. Support development of plan for training, support, and guidance to the platform/system users, as well as stakeholders to solicit feedback for continuous improvement.

      b. Monitor and measure performance, availability, and quality of the platform/system, while identifying and resolving issues or risks in a timely manner.

      c. Strategic partnership with New Value Chain initiatives to drive digital transformation for future state of Honda’s supply chain.

      d. Leads integration of BY TMS solution with extended business team.

2. BY TMS Platform Work

      a. Support SME onboarding / fostering

      b. Support Operation Standard creation

      c. Support Functional Documentation for SME's

      d. Support SuperUser / Resident Expert Adoption

3. Product Strategy

      a. Support development of vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Value Chain Control Tower platform in alignment with the business objectives and stakeholder needs (by working with the Epic Owner and Product Manager)

      b. Build and sustain an understanding of Honda site’s system functionality and drive necessary improvements needed to existing systems to achieve NVC vision.

      c. Support management of the BY TMS backlog, prioritize features, and oversee the delivery of the platform/system using lean-agile mindsets and practices.

      d. Supports process for strategic improvement initiatives to enhance the BY TMS at a regional level.

4. Platform Implementation

      a. Collaborate with internal and external teams, including business, IT, vendors, and partners, to design, develop, implement, and maintain the platform/system.

      b. Support Scaled Agile (SAFe) process and deliverables for BY TMS.

      c. Creative decision-making and strategy to support regional and technical approach for the Tranportation Management solution.

 Must Have

• Min 4-5 end-to-end implementations of BY TMS or extensive Transportation Planning and management support
• Strong in managing customer expectations, stakeholder management, regular reviews, and customer management
• Focus on delivery-led growth leading to increased revenue generation
• Strong knowledge of SCM Planning concepts, practices, and procedure

• Should Have
  • Expert in customization of TMS models, custom operation plan release mechanism in transportation planning.
  • Functional & Technical hands-on experience in BY TMS.
  • Hands-on experience in BY integration, batch processes, Solution Architecture
• Could Have
  • Familiarity with agile principles and project management
  • Ability to produce quality deliverables with minimal supervision and direction
  • Hands-on experience in handling business requirements in JIRA and similar tools
  • Ability to conduct Business End user Training and grooming internal talent pool

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $120,000 to $1,60,000 .
