Digital Technology Portfolio Lead
The Digital Technology Portfolio Lead is responsible for prioritizing, managing, and optimizing our organization’s portfolio of digital and technology initiatives to align with our strategic business goals. This role ensures that digital transformation programs are effectively governed, prioritized, and delivered with clear value realization and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Assess business objectives and requirements, and work with senior PO and BA leads, as well as business leads, to shape, scope, size, and estimate new business demand. Prioritize against the existing portfolio of work, ensuring alignment with business strategy, return on investment (ROI), and resource capacity.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders, IT, and PMO to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence digital initiatives in line with corporate objectives.
- Planning: Work with business and technology leads to drive PI and big room planning activity.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain governance frameworks, dashboards, and performance reporting mechanisms for tracking progress, outcomes, and risks.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between executive leadership and delivery teams to ensure clear communication, expectation management, and decision-making support.
- Financial Oversight: Track portfolio budgets, forecasts, and benefits realization. Support financial planning and investment decisions.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management processes, tools, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe, hybrid models).
- Digital Agile Experience: Experience working on application development and PWS projects, and strong experience with Agile methodology and SAFe.
