Role Description

This position gives firsthand experience in running the CTS, GTS and xTS compatibility test suite on Android Devices.
Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to):
· Running CTS/xTS test suites:
o Execute automated tests on a wide range of Android devices using various tools to verify compatibility with core Android APIs, system behaviours, and security features.
· Analysing test results:
o Review detailed test reports to identify failures, pinpoint root causes of issues, and prioritize bug reports for developers.
· Defect management:
o Log detailed bug reports with clear descriptions, steps to reproduce, and expected behaviour to facilitate issue resolution.
· Device setup and configuration:
o Prepare test devices with appropriate configurations and necessary software to run CTS/xTS tests effectively.
· Troubleshooting issues:
o Investigate complex test failures, identify potential hardware or software conflicts, and work with developers to find solutions

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Computer science or Electronics or Electrical
· 3+ years of experience in Android CTS, XTS test execution
· Strong understanding in Android OS
· 3-5 years of proven experience in manual testing
· Abilit to follow test plan, test script and file bug report and create test reprots
Preferred Qualifications:
· Mobile handset testing experience
· Able to automate manual testing
· Knowledge in Python scripting
 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s  Degree

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $160,000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
