Job Title: Salesforce Technical Architect – Service Cloud / Field Service Lightning
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom development, system design, and client-facing engagement, and will serve as a technical leader across high-impact projects. Responsible for delivering scalable Salesforce solutions, managing complex integrations, and driving architectural decisions while ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design scalable and high-performing Salesforce architectures in Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning domains.
- Lead technical design sessions, document solutions, and develop and implement custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), Visualforce, and Flows.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to developers and administrators on Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver robust Salesforce implementations aligned with business goals.
- Develop complex custom solutions, including dynamic forms, automations, API integrations, and offline capabilities for Field Service Mobile.
- Manage and resolve technical escalations, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in code reviews, enforce quality standards, and ensure adherence to Salesforce governor limits and security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, business analysts, QA, and support teams.
- Drive technical innovation and stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 5+ years in Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning.
- Proven track record of custom development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Field Service (FSL) configuration, mobile optimization, and workforce management features.
- Solid understanding of Service Cloud Console, Omni-Channel, Case Management, Entitlements, and Knowledge Base.
- Expertise in Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via middleware or custom APIs.
- Strong problem-solving and issue triaging skills, with the ability to quickly identify root causes and recommend solutions.
- Exceptional communication and client engagement skills; able to translate technical topics to business stakeholders.
- Experience handling project escalations and working in fast-paced delivery environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in offline capabilities and synchronization within Field Service Mobile.
- Familiarity with DevOps for Salesforce (e.g., Gearset, Copado, SFDX, SF).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $1,60,000 .
