Functions Solution Architect (Contract) - Bordeaux, France

The role   

• As a Cross Functions Solution Architect for Client transformation initiatives, you will be responsible for developing business, data, software, and integration architecture standards to facilitate the management of processes and systems.
• you will collaborate with business partners globally to comprehend their needs and then design and construct appropriate solutions. By implementing consistent service patterns,
• you will ensure seamless global deployment, while also simplifying processes to support and improve ongoing development. 

What you will do

• Responsible for overseeing the overall design and integrity of the Finance and Cross Functions ecosystem in support of the goals of the Ellipse program, which involves migrating selected European systems to the Group Standard Architecture.
• Provide support for various initiatives at the Client (Continental Europe) level across different areas of Risk and Finance, with a specific focus on Models, Data, Reporting, and strategic alignment to architecture for new services.
• Ensure that solution designs accurately reflect the enterprise's needs and collaborate closely with senior architects to ensure alignment with architectural strategy, standards, and policies, and that they are appropriately documented in relevant artifacts.
• Collaborate with architects and technologists to translate vision into an actionable strategy, leveraging practical experience and considering broader delivery and operational aspects.
• Ensure that designs are approved by relevant design authorities, with deviations and key design decisions being appropriately documented.
• Capture and analyze specific business requirements and develop IT solution designs, ensuring that all functional and non-functional requirements are adequately addressed.
•  Engage with delivery teams to ensure that the architecture is comprehended and implemented, providing necessary guidance on solution design when needed.
• Advocate for Architecture principles and communicate the value proposition of architecture to technology and business partners.

Who are we looking for

• Extensive experience in collaborating with stakeholders from various disciplines, including business analysts, product owners, testing teams, and other technical stakeholders, showcasing the ability to engage with a diverse range of personnel to articulate and integrate the architecture.
• Proficiency in developing clear and concise architecture solutions and effectively communicating them to both technical and non-technical audiences, utilizing appropriate communication styles tailored to the intended audience.
• Possess coaching and mentoring skills to support project delivery teams and other colleagues as needed, ensuring successful business outcomes, and serving as a domain expert escalation point when required.
• Demonstrating exceptional situational awareness and the ability to adapt appropriately to a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with a track record of achieving results in a matrixed environment by partnering with Software Engineering and Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a proven track record in a large, scalable Agile environment.
• Ability to comprehend and effectively communicate complex concepts.
• Capable of operating effectively in ambiguous areas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate the bigger picture and fine details and with an eye to both business acumen and commercial outlook
