Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Architect

Location: Philadelphia (3 to 4 days in a week to office)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow CMDB Architect with a deep specialization in ServiceNow Discovery and robust CMDB governance. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining, designing, and overseeing the strategic vision and implementation of our ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established governance frameworks. You will be instrumental in leveraging ServiceNow Discovery to populate and maintain the CMDB, and in establishing the policies and procedures that guarantee data integrity and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, aligning it with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and enterprise IT strategy.
  • Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping solutions to automate CMDB population and dependency mapping.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive CMDB governance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data quality, ownership, and lifecycle management.
  • Define and establish CI classes, attributes, and relationships, ensuring logical and accurate representation of IT services and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and other relevant teams to integrate CMDB data and support various IT processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of CMDB health, data accuracy, and completeness through audits, reporting, and proactive remediation.
  • Provide expert guidance and thought leadership on CMDB and Discovery capabilities, fostering a culture of data integrity and responsible configuration management.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including Discovery and CMDB.
  • Strong background in integrating ServiceNow with external systems (e.g., via APIs, MID Servers).
  • Solid understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and IT governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow platform administration, configuration, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript).
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $1,58,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
