Job Description

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.

Do

1.    Provide tool design, development and deployment support for the project delivery 
a.    Interact with the internal project or client to understand the project requirement from a tool perspective 
b.    Design the solution keeping in mind the tool requirements, current tools available as well as details on licenses required etc.
c.    Provide budget and timeline estimates for the tool development/ deployment as required
d.    For any new tool development, identify sources for development (internal or 3rd party) and work with the project managers on the development of the tool keeping in mind the production rollout timelines
e.    Conduct commercial discussions with the 3rd party vendors for licenses or tool development 
f.    Conduct appropriate testing to ensure error free deployment of the tool on the project
g.    Ensure deployment of tool on time and within the estimated budget

Mandatory Skills: BMC Truesight Server Automation .

 

Experience: 8-12 Years .

 

BMC TrueSight Server Automation JD for SME

 

  • 8+ years of experience with BMC TrueSight Server Automation.
  • Should have extensive expertise in Implementation\High Level and Low-Level Design Documentation of BMC TrueSight Server Automation(TSSA).
  • Design and Implement tasks using TrueSight Server Automation.
  • Experience in L3 Support, and Development is essential.
  • Develop new customizations, integrations, and reports.
  • Experience in configuring image-based, script-based, or template-based provisioning.
  • Knowledge on best practices for configuration and deployment.
  • Experience working with Agent ACLs, Permissions, and Object Access.
  • Should have extensive knowledge and experience of TrueSight Server Automation, PowerShell scripting, Network Shell scripting.
  • Should have extensive knowledge and experience of Server Patch Management using TSSA on both Unix/Linux and Windows servers.
  • Should have experience in creating different TSSA jobs and payloads for automation.
  • Experience in creating scripts to apply specific patch bundles to servers.
  • Should have experience in automating server compliance audits and remediations using TSSA.
  • Understanding of TSSA Architecture.
  • Should possess ITIL knowledge, should understand ITOPs.
  • Technical knowledge of TSSA and BMC products.
  • Good Troubleshooting and Analytical Skill required for job failures and checking logs of individual jobs in TSSA.
  • Any other BMC product exposure would be an added advantage.
