Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

- Strong experience on database migration, upgrade, DG, Log shipping, Replication, Clustering,troubleshoot and best practice implementation on various versions of Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL
- Should be well versed with design and installation of database under different platforms
- Database upgrade and migration experience
- Design, planning, setup and administer disaster recovery and high availability solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning experience and recommendation
Evaluate and implement the hot fixes, critical patches and service pack
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility, good attitude
- Vendor Certified Expert / Master
- Installing the database on various Unix / Windows platforms
- Handled database estate of various technologies
Good knowledge on various operating system, storage, backup and network technologies
Manage the global infrastructure customer and projects
