Job Description

A Technical Product Manager (PM) in the HPE Hybrid Cloud Organization at Wipro Technologies-USA plays a vital role in designing and implementing innovative cloud solutions, specifically focusing on HPE GreenLake Cloud offerings.

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, document, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure utilizing a range of HPE Private Cloud software products such as HPE Morpheus, HPE VM Essentials, HPE OpsRamp, HPE Proliant Servers, HPE Alletra Storage, and HPE Aruba Networking. Key responsibilities include creating architectural designs, offering strategic recommendations, and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of cloud solutions.

Furthermore, the Technical Product Manager will engage with clients to understand their needs, provide customized cloud solutions, mentor team members, and facilitate seamless integration of cloud solutions into existing frameworks. Proficiency in cloud technologies, networking, scripting, security practices, and problem-solving skills is essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in cloud architecture, particularly with HPE Private Cloud Products. Relevant certifications such as VMware VCDX or cloud-specific certifications from providers like AWS or Azure are advantageous.

Additional attributes desired for this role include excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders, the ability to multitask on high-priority projects, and a commitment to continuous learning in the ever-evolving cloud technology landscape.

  • Understand the Needs:
    • Interact with clients to comprehend their explicit and implicit requirements
    • Collaborate with the pre-sales team to gather detailed RFP information
    • Translate client interactions into actionable user stories in collaboration with business analysts
    • Analyze client business problems to identify and propose relevant solutions, focusing on automation and process enhancements
    • Identify touchpoints within client value streams to enhance service offerings
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer between clients and development teams to tailor solutions
    • Develop and uphold a product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with client expectations
    • Review solution packages and proof of concepts with developers for client approval
  • Design and Development:
    • Architect product solutions with technical teams, establishing timelines and progress monitoring
    • Collaborate with UX and UI teams to create client-centric product designs
    • Track project issues, resolutions, and bugs, maintaining a comprehensive database for future reference
    • Coordinate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless code deployment across environments
    • Create test cases and conduct comprehensive testing, including user acceptance testing
    • Provide a production-ready product for internal testing and client approval, ensuring satisfaction
    • Develop and maintain database backup scripts, periodically testing restoration processes

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $1,58,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
