About the Role:We are looking for passionate and experienced Full Stack Engineers with strong Java expertise to join our newly formed Engineering Shop in Costa Rica. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be part of an agile scrum team delivering high-performance applications in a modern, cloud-native environment

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based applicationsBuild and consume RESTful APIs and microservicesImplement responsive UIs using modern frontend technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practicesCollaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features on timeWrite unit and integration tests to ensure application qualityContribute to CI/CD pipeline development and cloud deployment

Required Qualifications:4+ years of experience in Java backend development (Java 8+)Strong understanding of Spring/Spring Boot frameworkExperience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar)Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScriptExperience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)Knowledge of RESTful services and microservices architectureFamiliarity with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and KubernetesAgile/Scrum methodology experienceGood communication skills in EnglishPreferred:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience
