Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer with extensive experience in utilizing tools like Alteryx and Dataflow to streamline data extraction and preparation from disparate sources, fostering an environment optimized for AI and machine learning initiatives. The successful candidate will be adept at creating cohesive data pipelines that facilitate seamless data integration and transformation, setting the stage for innovative machine learning projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration and Transformation: Employ tools such as Alteryx and Dataflow to integrate data from diverse sources and formats into a unified, accessible structure.
- Database Management: Develop and maintain robust, scalable data warehouses and databases to support machine learning and AI projects.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement processes to ensure data quality and consistency, identifying and rectifying discrepancies and errors.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and analysts, to define requirements and develop solutions that meet project goals.
- Documentation and Compliance: Create detailed documentation for data pipelines and adhere to data governance and compliance policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, specifically with hands-on experience in using tools like Alteryx and Dataflow.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- Experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R.
