Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Cloud Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background as a Salesforce Developer for over 5 years, combined with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Cloud Engineer. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly utilizing Salesforce's Data Cloud (formerly known as Salesforce Customer 360). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven strategies and ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and other systems.

Key Responsibilities:

•Leadership & Strategy:

◦ Lead the design, development, and implementation of data solutions within Salesforce Data Cloud.

◦ Oversee the day-to-day operations of data management across the Salesforce ecosystem.

◦ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and developers on best practices for Salesforce development and data cloud integration.

◦ Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic goals for Salesforce Data Cloud integration and data management solutions.

• Salesforce Development & Integration:

◦ Design and implement custom solutions using Salesforce platform technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce pages.

◦ Develop and deploy integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and external systems, ensuring data consistency, integrity, and security.

◦ Customize Salesforce applications and workflows to meet the specific needs of the business and improve data efficiency.

• Data Cloud Engineering:

◦ Architect and implement solutions using Salesforce Data Cloud to manage large-scale customer data, ensuring scalability and performance.

◦ Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to deliver actionable insights and enhance customer data management capabilities.

◦ Work with data teams to ensure the integration of Salesforce Data Cloud with other data systems (e.g., external data warehouses, ETL pipelines).

◦ Optimize data storage, retrieval, and management within Salesforce, leveraging features like data streaming, event-driven architecture, and data sharing.

• Collaboration & Cross-functional Work:

◦ Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

◦ Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to design data pipelines that align with the company's goals.

◦ Ensure data governance, compliance, and best practices are followed in all Data Cloud initiatives.

• Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

◦ Stay up to date with Salesforce Data Cloud advancements, best practices, and new releases to ensure the use of the latest technologies.

◦ Proactively identify areas for improvement in data systems and processes and recommend actionable solutions.

◦ Continuously monitor system performance and resolve any issues related to data flow, integrity, or system downtime.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a solid understanding of Salesforce development tools and technologies (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce).
• At least 2+ years of experience working as a Data Cloud Engineer or similar role, focusing on data management within the Salesforce ecosystem (Salesforce Data Cloud or Customer 360).
• Proven experience in integrating Salesforce with external data systems and cloud-based applications.
• Expertise in designing data models, data architecture, and working with Salesforce Data Cloud features like data streams, event-driven architecture, and advanced analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly known as Salesforce Customer 360), including understanding its data architecture, management tools, and features.
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL), data integration techniques, and data management best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with an ability to analyze and resolve complex data issues.
• Experience in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data management solutions (ETL tools, data lakes, etc.) is a plus.
• Should be Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I
• Should be Salesforce Certified Data Architect or other relevant certifications in the data/cloud domain.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide teams through complex technical challenges.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data integrity, accuracy, and security.
