Position: Data Historian Consultant with Power SCADA experience is required. Are you an experienced professional with a strong background in implementing Data Historian tools and a passion for driving innovation in the power and utilities sector? We are seeking a talented Power SCADA DH Consultant with hands-on experience in Power SCADA
Role Overview:
As a Power SCADA DH Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and integrating Data Historian solutions to drive condition-based monitoring, predictive and preventive maintenance, automation, optimization, and deferral management in the power and utilities sector.
What You Will Do:
- Implement and integrate Data Historian solutions using various connectors and tools, such as eDNA, OSISoft PI, OPC-DA, OPC-UA, PItoPI, PI UFL, PI-RDBMS, etc.
- Make key design decisions on Data Historian components and provide consulting services to clients for application, health check, and upkeep of models.
- Collaborate with Data Architecture Teams to build real-time data pipelines and data cleansing algorithms.
- Support integration activities for applications in the real-time space and work with architecture and cyber security teams to ensure secure and reliable setup and operations of the Data Historian environment.
- Utilize strong data modeling and analytical skills to drive impactful business outcomes in the utility sector.
- Run workshops, customer-facing activities, and provide consultation and support to the Data Architecture Teams.
What You Bring:
- Extensive experience in implementing Data Historian tools, with added expertise in eDNA, OSISoft PI, and various connectors.
- Strong understanding of IT/OT integration and utility business processes, systems, requirements, and constraints.
- Proficiency in Data Historian servers administration, web API administration, and implementation, support, and administration.
- Ability to provide consultation and support to the Data Architecture Teams and work with cyber security teams to ensure secure and reliable setup and operations of the Data Historian environment.
Mandatory Requirement:
- Residency in the UK for the last 5 years with a full proof UK address.
- Additional benefit for individuals with National Security Vetting (NSV) clearance.
