Job Description: Data Architect
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of SQL, KQL, various data platforms, Data Fabric, and Big Data technologies. The Data Architect will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing our data infrastructure to ensure efficient and effective data management and utilization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development: Architect, design, and develop scalable and robust data models and structures to support various business needs.
Data Integration: Integrate disparate data sources into a unified system ensuring data consistency and quality.
Data Management: Implement data management strategies, including data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
Optimization and Performance Tuning: Optimize database performance and data processing workflows to ensure high efficiency.
Data products: Create Data contracts, process to create/update Data products
Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data products.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, data flows, and infrastructure.
Security and Compliance: Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of SQL and KQL.
Experience with various data platforms (e.g., relational databases, NoSQL databases, cloud-based data services).
Familiarity with Data Fabric concepts and implementations.
Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
Experience working with telemetry data and semi-structured data.

Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data requirements and design efficient solutions.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts.
Certification in relevant technologies or methodologies.
Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things).
