Job Description

  • Experience predominantly in automotive domain in areas like IVI HMI development, ECU software development and testing.
  • Good understanding of Japanese and English language (must)
  • Should be able to understand the Japanese , interpret it and communicate to delivery team
  • Fluent in Japanese with N3 ~ N2 JLPT proficient, proficient in Japanese conversations, good read/write Japanese capability.
  • Experience in working on onsite-offshore development model.
  • Experience working on programming languages like Python, C#, C, CAPL
  • Experience in working with CANalyzer, CANoe and Vector Test System.
  • Should have ability to understand HW schematics, System design documents, SW Design/Specification/Architecture documents in Japanese.
  • Experience in testing software requirements of ECU in any of test suite (in-house developed or licensed software).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, collaborate effectively with multiple teams and be flexible adapting to changing requirements
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like GIT, GitLab, SVN etc.
  • Must be able to quickly grasp customer Software design, specifications, source code analysis and guide the team offshore in development and testing.
  • Must act as consultant to see across business opportunities within a customer software group.
  • Experience in understanding, troubleshooting ECU software issues, CAN/Ethernet data logs, analyze, debug and fix software issues in traditional ECU software environments and VT system environments.
  • Engage with client to deploy opportunities to deploy multiple solutions within/ across SLs to create a stronger value proposition for clients
  • Design and monitor project performance dashboards/ reports with the clients periodically
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
