Job Description

Hardware Asset Management JD 

  • Lead and manage a team of asset and configuration coordinators.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies and policies.
  • Oversee the acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date asset records in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize asset utilization and reduce costs.
  • Provide training and support to team members on asset management processes and tools
  • Generate and present reports on asset status, utilization, and compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for asset procurement and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices in asset and configuration management.
  • Technical Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management (CM) tools
  • Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) processes.
  • Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) systems.
