Position: Data Center Engineer
Location: Ashburn, VA
Overview: As a Senior Data Center Engineer at Wipro Technologies-USA, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data center operations. You will be involved in various tasks including racking, cabling, and decommissioning of equipment, as well as providing incident and break/fix responses. Additionally, you will help manage vendors related to layer 1 infrastructure and ensure that overall workspace and storage area responsibilities are upheld. This position requires commitment to 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, ensuring continued support for our clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily data center operations including the installation and decommissioning of assets while adhering to tight schedules.
- Ensure all break/fix incidents are resolved efficiently and do not violate Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate effectively with shift partners and management to maintain high standards of performance and receive positive feedback.
- Help onboard and guide new team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and operational guidelines to foster a secure working environment.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $45,000 to $1,10,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
