Job Summary:

Wipro Technologies seeks a proactive and detail-oriented Employment Laws ERM to join our dynamic team as a Functional Risk Analyst. In this critical role, you will oversee and guide the organization's adherence to employment laws and regulatory standards, ensuring the establishment of robust compliance frameworks. You will work collaboratively across departments to identify risk factors, implement effective compliance strategies, and uphold our commitment to ethical practices.

As a key player in shaping our compliance landscape, your responsibilities will include assessing risk profiles, conducting comprehensive audits, and promoting a culture of compliance across the organization. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly towards safeguarding the company’s reputation and ensuring sustainable business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Compliance Programs: Craft and execute comprehensive compliance initiatives tailored to meet employment laws and regulatory requirements, ensuring ongoing adherence throughout the organization.
  • Risk Assessment: Regularly evaluate potential compliance risks through thorough assessments and analysis, proposing effective mitigation strategies to address identified challenges.
  • Audit and Monitoring: Conduct systematic audits and monitoring processes to verify compliance adherence and identify areas for improvement, reporting findings to senior leadership.
  • Reporting: Synthesize and present detailed reports on compliance activities, risks, and suggested mitigation strategies to executive leadership, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Advisory Role: Act as a trusted advisor on employment law compliance, extending guidance and expert insights to varied departments, fostering a culture grounded in compliance and ethics.
  • Regulatory Updates: Remain vigilant regarding changes in employment laws, proactively implementing necessary adaptations to organizational policies and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (JD) is considered a valuable asset.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of proven expertise in employment law compliance and risk management, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, complemented by a keen understanding of compliance management frameworks.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a talent for translating complex legal concepts into actionable strategies.
    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating productive relationships across diverse teams.
    • Self-motivated with the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented culture.
    • Proficient in the use of compliance management software and analytical tools, enhancing operational efficiency.
