Reporting to the India Consulting Hub Lead, this role as Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing and Resources (EMR) Lead for Europe, you will lead growth of the consulting business in all these sectors, leveraging both existing and emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting locally and globally. You will bring extensive management consulting expertise, with demonstrated experience working with top professional service firms globally.

 

This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas, contributing to the overall EMR business business and dedication to the growth of consulting engagements in our European business

  • Transformation themes for Platform-led Modernisation, Customer Centricity, Strategic Growth and Innovation, Digital Adoption, Technology-enabled Business & Operations including Gen AI;
  • Consulting capabilities across Digital Experiences & Design Thinking, CxO Advisory including M&A, New Ways of Working, Vendor Consolidation and Target Operating Model.
  • Experience in Energy or Utilities sectors will be an advantage for the role as EMR Europe Lead.

 

Our EMR Europe Lead is expected to build C-level relationships and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally. Areas of focus

  • Growth: Work with the EMR and Sector leadership teams to define a sound business growth strategy for our priority EMR accounts. Ensure the consulting business opens new ‘One Wipro’ business opportunities and large deals by positioning and leveraging consulting skills and capabilities, across the EMR sector and in the dedicated EMR account.

  • Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within designated strategic clients

  • Branding: Helping create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare

Develop Business, Sell & Deliver

  • Own executive relationships with key clients in the EUMR sectors; act as a strategic advisor.
  • Drive account growth through identification and pursuit of consulting, digital, and transformation opportunities.
  • Partner with sales and account teams to shape winning proposals and long-term engagement models.
  • Big picture orientation, conceiving effective strategies to drive growth.

  • Delivery and program expertise with experience in handling multi shore consulting projects with distributed teams delivering sustainable customer value.
  • Know-how to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges.

  • Strong structured problem-solving capability, enabling the ability to probe customers, engage in conversations to uncover the underlying problems and shape the challenges into structured problem statements.
  • Significant transformation proposition definition and engagement shaping using core and disruptive technologies to solve business problems for tangible business benefits at large enterprise clients.
  • Be a champion and passionate advocate for Transformation to reposition Wipro as a strategic partner to accelerate and sustain customer value. The individual must be an ambassador for Digital Adoption and the Digital Transformation for the industry.
  • Ability to drive and lead the strategic execution, manage change, build relationships with clients, partners, motivate teams and achieve results.

  • Mentor and grow a team of consultants, industry specialists, and domain experts.

Job Description

Role Purpose
The Domain Head is the P&L owner and provides strategic leadership & direction to the SBU domain teams in terms of domain capability, thought leadership and people competency. S/he is responsible for formulating, articulating, and executing the domain strategy to be the natural choice for clients in the upstream domain consulting space while ensuring subsequent downstream opportunities. The role holder is also responsible for pursuit strategy, marketable domain solutions, partner alliances and analyst relations for all verticals of the SBU.

  • Directs larger sales activities, bids and proposals. +B5:B20
  • Looks for new areas of growth and co-ordinates resources to respond to opportunities. 
  • Sells spectrum of services and solutions from across the organisation. 
  • Contributes to long term revenue generation plans across the business unit and sets revenue targets. Owns the overall P&L responsibility for the domain at an SBU level
  • Invests in development of new value propositions (USPs) in line with market and environment trends.
  • Provides vertical/industry consulting capability to Wipro’s clients across multiple business functions.
  • Develops roadmap for industry areas of growth; Competitive Service offerings, domain embedded solutions
  • Builds active partnerships with solution providers and alliance partners, and analysts
  • Incubates new revenue streams through identification of domain areas, that can contribute a substantial proportion of the verticals revenue in the short, medium and long terms
  • Builds a team of thought leaders who can develop & deliver solutions that can be taken to market
  • Presents POV ; white papers etc. at strategic industry and analyst conferences
  • Ensures growth in  business advisory and consulting capabilities
  • Ensures appropriate domain and business analyst support to all programs and projects being executed by the vertical
  • Ensures overall utilization targets for the domain are met, and premium billing rates realized for the domain experts.
