Experience: 10+ years

· Work on forecasting projects in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) domain.

· Good knowledge on power trading, demand forecasting and other CETRM functions.

· Must have good experience in implementing machine learning models such as Prophet, ARIMA, SARIMA, XGBoost, ElasticNet, Ridge, Lasso, Random Forest, and Linear Regression on time-series data.

· Proficient in using Python ML packages such as scikit-learn, sktime, and darts.

· Must have strong expertise in key techniques for time series feature engineering, including lag features, rolling window statistics, Fourier transforms, and handling seasonality.

· Proven ability to tune the performance of existing deployed forecasting models.

· Must have experience with Azure Machine Learning Python SDK v1/v2 to:

· Manage data, models, and environments

· Build/debug AML pipelines to stitch together multiple tasks (feature engineering, training, registering models, etc.) and production workflows using Azure ML pipelines

· Schedule Azure ML jobs

· Deploy registered models to create endpoints.

· Good to have experience with K-Means clustering.

· Must utilized Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Key Vault to architect and maintain scalable data solutions.

· Design, develop, and deploy new Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and logging, ensuring robustness and reliability.

· Proficiently transform and manipulate data using PySpark and Python, leveraging their capabilities to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

· Lead the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring a seamless build and release flow for data infrastructure and applications.

· Drive best practices in data engineering, including data governance, security, and performance optimization.

· Work on Trading data integration projects within the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) domain.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from ETRM trading systems like Allegro, RightAngle, and Endur.

· Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETRM systems.

· Develop and maintain ETRM solutions using FastAPI, Python, PyTest, SQL Alchemy, Pydantic, Snowflake etc…

· Work with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Snowflake, Python, and Databricks to build and optimize data solutions.

· Develop and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.

· Write efficient and maintainable code in Python for data processing and analysis.

Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct detailed requirements analysis for new and existing software projects in the energy trading sector.

· Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, business managers, and IT teams, to gather and document business and functional requirements.

· Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.

· Work closely with the software development team to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.

· Consult the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business needs.

· Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business users and technical teams.

· Participate in project planning, review meetings, and provide regular progress updates.

· Consult the Product Owner in managing the backlog.

Requirements:

· 12+ years of ETRM industry experience with good understanding and experience of projects in ETRM, Power/Gas Trading domain and European Markets

· Experience in customization\integration with Allegro

· Functional requirements gathering and documentation

· Designing Allegro based functional prototypes and functional modeling of business flows in Allegro

· Understanding of E2E data flow scenarios in Allegro and integration with external applications like Trayport, Exxeta etc.

· End to end functional knowledge of Trade Lifecycle, Trade Valuations, Market Data, PnL Reporting & Market Reports.

· Design elicitation with business users and closing functional design in Allegro.

· Documenting functional design, reference data mapping & high-level testing scenarios

· Design walkthrough to the technical team and validating coverage of technical design as per documented business requirements.

· Acting as an interface between technical and business-oriented stakeholders.

· Reference data design and setup in Allegro.

· Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL.

· Creation of automated reference data setup scripts for Allegro

· Creating Functional test catalog and facilitating User Acceptance testing.

· Help with solution design and definition of solution architectures.
