Role: Business Analyst.
Role Description:
This position is for an experienced Business Analyst with strong experience in technology projects, who will act as the primary interface with business partners, solution architects, and cross-organizational technology teams. The Analyst will analyze current processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. The Analyst is responsible for working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze problems, and elicit requirements/stories from a business team. Also gather and apply technical knowledge in use cases, process models, technical requirements, acceptance criteria and more into JIRA Epics & Stories that can be executed by the team. Working closely with the Development Team to refine and estimate the story requirements. The Analyst will be part of an Agile Scrum team, collaborating with the Product Owner to evaluate the Features, write effective user stories, document business rules and with the Developers to review technical design, identify enablers and dependencies. The resource must be able to be able to act as the communication hub between tech teams and business partners/product owners.
Responsibilities:
• Determine project scope documentation and identify/refine requirements.
• Track and report on project status/deliverables and produce project artifacts.
• Understand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem.
• Gather and catalogue functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
• Provide subject matter expertise within the business / technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions.
• Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.Provides support to UAT and SIT testers to clarify requirements and determine whether a defect is a new requirement, or truly a defect
Required Skills:
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data requirements for developers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on deadlines.
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work with the stakeholders to understand the concerns, risks and issues.
• Acting as a liaison between the business and its information (IT) department
• Demonstrated passion for intellectual curiosity and accuracy as well as the ability to research issues and identify root cause and patterns.
Preferred Technical Skills:
• SQL, JIRA
• UI Experience
• Agile
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
Experience: 3-5 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $45,000 to $1,10,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
