Experience (Essential)
Extensive knowledge on any of the patch management/deployment tools like SCCM, Jetpatch, Puppet, BigFix, System Frontier, etc.,
Good knowledge on MS WSUS deployment, configuration and patch management
· Implementation of the patches using Change Management procedures. · Secure approvals and perform the patching on the servers as per the patching window provided by the client. · Govern and monitor deployment of patches from the patch tool and notify respective stake holders upon completion. · Special instructions to be followed by technical teams like reboot sequence or checking the application services in case it is provided by Application support teams. · Goof knowledge to troubleshoot/remediate failed patches from the tool · Track the patch compliance and provide weekly and monthly reports to stake holders · Maintain consistent patch compliance levels of 99% and higher · Take a role of SPOC for all patching and vulnerability management in Windows
