Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Excel macros and VBA scripts to automate repetitive tasks such as data entry, report generation, and data processing.
• Create advanced data analysis tools using Excel macros to generate automated reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for business teams.
• Customize and automate Excel templates to meet specific business needs, ensuring that users can easily input data and generate accurate outputs with minimal effort.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing macros to ensure they function as expected, resolving errors or performance issues in macros or VBA scripts.
• Develop macros to automate the import, export, and transformation of data between Excel and other business systems or data sources (e.g., databases, ERP, CRM).

• Provide training and support to business users on how to use and modify Excel macros effectively, ensuring they understand how to leverage automation for improved productivity.
• Optimize existing Excel macros and VBA scripts for performance, ensuring they run efficiently even with large datasets or complex calculations.
• Document all Excel macro solutions, providing clear instructions and best practices for future users and developers, ensuring that macros are scalable and maintainable.
• Collaborate with teams (e.g., finance, operations, marketing) to understand their data needs and develop Excel-based automation solutions that address business challenges.
• Stay up to date with new features in Excel and VBA, implementing best practices, and continuously improving the efficiency of macros and automations to meet evolving business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field. Relevant certifications in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist) are a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in developing Excel macros and VBA scripts to automate tasks and improve data analysis within Excel. Experience in any other automation tools is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including a strong understanding of formulas, functions, pivot tables, charts, and data visualization.
• Extensive experience in VBA programming for creating complex macros and automating processes.
• Proficiency in SQL or other query languages for integrating and manipulating data within Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop solutions that address business challenges efficiently, and resolve issues in existing macros or VBA code.

• High attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of automated solutions, data integrity, and proper macro execution.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and provide training on Excel automation.
• Ability to manage multiple macro development projects simultaneously, ensuring that solutions are delivered on time and meet the business requirements.
• Knowledge of data structures and experience working with large datasets, ensuring efficient data processing through macros and optimizing performance.
• Ability to work with business teams to understand their needs and develop automation solutions that align with organizational goals and increase productivity.
